We currently collect and process the following information:
Personal identifiers, contacts, and characteristics (for example, name and contact details) relating to carers, clients, suppliers of services to Tranquil Home Care Ltd, for the purpose of employment or service contract.
Care Records relating to clients of services to Tranquil Home Care Ltd, which are held by the clients at their place of residence and in accordance of data protection and confidentiality advice.

For the purpose of care we may hold the following basic information: your name, address, telephone, date of birth, emergency contact and next of kin contacts, etc. This personal information may be held in a variety of formats, including paper records, electronically on computer systems. Information will be held for a period of up to seven years after support has ceased.
Some personal information we process is provided to us through other sources, including Ambulance Services, Department of Health and Social Care, your GP or Social Security, for example in relation to the provision of care.
Under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018, the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information include.

For example, this relates to any voluntary opt-in arrangements like newsletters or special offers to which you can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time.
We have a contractual obligation.
For example, this relates to your Care Arrangements, which are provided in accordance with our contract agreement.
We have a legal obligation.
For example, this relates to information we share under a legal obligation, for example to Social Security or Income Tax in relation to employment or benefits, or in response to a proper legal request from the police or the court.
We have a vital interest.
For example, this relates to ‘special category information’ which might otherwise not be disclosed but is vital. A do not resuscitate DNR is an example of data that might be shared with Ambulance Services in particular circumstances.
We need it to perform a public task.
For example, this relates to ‘covid’ related information that may be required of us, by government as part of its public task.
We have a legitimate interest.
For example, this relates to business information (not care information) that may be used to inform and promote the running of Tranquil Home Care Ltd. For example non-attributable information of typical age or gender profiles
What we do with the information we have
We use the information that you have given us in order to provide our service to you.

Support with medications and prescriptions

If you would like further information about what data is relevant to each service, please refer to your contract or care arrangement which will offer additional details or get in touch and we would be happy to answer any questions.
We may share this information with Ambulance Services, Department of Health and Social Care, your GP or Social Security.
Any exchange of personal information is in accordance with Data Sharing Agreements with the respective organisations and done in accordance with the data protection and confidentiality measures agreed.
How we store your information
Your information is securely stored at our Head Offices, secure under lock and key with appropriate premises, cyber and admin security arrangements to protect your data.
Tranquil Home Care Ltd uses up-to-date data storage and security techniques to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification or unlawful destruction or accidental loss.
In some cases Care Records relating to clients of services to Tranquil Home Care Ltd, are held by the clients at their place of residence. We will offer guidance on data protection and confidentiality, where relevant.
Third Country Transfers And Safeguards
We operate in Jersey. However we do use technology which may transfer data to another jurisdiction, for example use of Microsoft and Cloud-based back-up of data. Where such transfers do not offer the same level of protection of personal data as may be enjoyed within your home country (eg United States) we will ensure that your data is appropriately protected (for example by reference to IT security standards)
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
